The Roles & Permissions feature allows your organization to control exactly what each team member can see, create, edit, and delete within AuctionBlaze. By creating custom roles, you can ensure users only have access to the features necessary for their job function.

1. Accessing the Permissions Manager

Firstly, your user role must have the permission to access Permissions.

Navigate to Settings --> Manage Permissions. Here, you will see a list of all existing roles in your organization, including system defaults and any custom roles you have created.

2. Defining and Managing Roles

A Role is a collection of permissions that can be assigned to one or more users. | Action | Description | Key Requirement | | Creating a Role | Select Create, give the new role a descriptive name (e.g., "Warehouse Operator," "Finance Lead"), and start defining its permissions. New roles are saved as Drafts until you grant at least one permission. | New role name required. | | Editing a Role | Use the table interface to adjust permissions for any custom role. How to Invite/Add a User

To invite/add a new user to your account, navigate to the Manage Users page by clicking Settings > Manage Users

From there, click on Invite User.
Enter the user's information, including the user role &/or specific permissions, and click Send Invite.
The user will receive an email invite once you click the SEND INVITE button. The status will change once the user accepts the invite from Pending Invitation to Accepted.
If a user is not receiving the email invite and the status is still Pending Invitation, please have them check their Spam/Junk folder. If they cannot locate the email, please contact our Support Team.

When adding a new user, you must select what level of permission they will get.

AuctionBlaze API Overview

The AuctionBlaze API is a public API that we provide to our Enterprise customers.

The API allows companies to perform a very specific set of functions within their AuctionBlaze account. In the hands of your software developers, they can write simple software programs to communicate with objects in their AuctionBlaze account and automate tasks between other cloud-based applications.

Where can I find my API Key?

Go to the Settings tab in AuctionBlaze.
Click on API.
Click Create Key Pair to generate a unique API Key.
Name your API Key and set an expiration date if desired, then click Create.
Your Public Key and Secret Key will be displayed. Make sure to save these keys.
Your active API Key will be visible in Settings > API.
To edit or delete the API Key, use the options to the right of the active key.
